SAN DIEGO – The Mountain West and its broadcast partners announced the television schedule for the remainder of the 2020-21 season on Tuesday. No. 18/20 San Diego State, which will have all its games broadcast on one of three networks, will appear on CBS twice, CBS Sports Network nine times and FS1 seven times. No game times were announced on Tuesday.
As the schedule is currently configured, San Diego State is the only program in the Mountain West that will have all its games broadcast nationally.
The Aztecs open league play with games at UNLV on Saturday, Jan. 2 and Monday, Jan. 4. Those games will be broadcast on CBS and FS1, respectively. These two games were, in the last schedule the league put out, originally set to be played on Dec. 31 and Jan. 2.
Returning home on Thursday, Jan. 7 and Saturday, Jan. 9, SDSU hosts Nevada with both games being broadcast on CBS Sports Network. San Diego State then heads to Utah State for a game on Thursday, Jan. 14 on CBS Sports Network and a second, set for Saturday, Jan. 16, on CBS.
SDSU remains on the road for its next two games, at Air Force on Friday, Jan. 22 and Sunday, Jan. 24. Both games will be broadcast on FS1.
The team returns home to host Wyoming on Thursday, Jan. 28 on FS1 and Saturday, Jan. 30 on CBS Sports Network. San Diego State then travels to play New Mexico on Wednesday, Feb. 3 and Friday, Feb. 5, with those games will be broadcast on FS1 and CBS Sports Network, respectively.
FS1 broadcasts the Aztecs' game against San Jose State, on Monday, Feb. 8, and CBS Sports Network had the second game against the Spartans on Wednesday, Feb. 10. Both games will be played in Viejas Arena.
San Diego State is scheduled to have a week off before its final four league games. On Thursday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 20, the team is at Fresno State and both contests will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. The regular season is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 27 against Boise State in Viejas Arena. FS1 will broadcast the first game and CBS Sports Network the second.
