SAN DIEGO -- It was another big week for former Aztecs in professional sports.
 
In the NFL, Daniel Brunskill (2013-16) started at right guard for San Francisco once again. He played in all 70 snaps on offense against Seattle. The 49ers host Green Bay on Thursday night. Linebacker Calvin Munson (2013-16) saw the field for 19 snaps on special teams in Miami's big win over the Los Angeles Rams, making a tackle. In Week 9, Miami will travel to Arizona to play the Cardinals and long snapper Aaron Brewer (2008-11). Arizona was on bye in Week 8.
 
Rookie cornerback Luq Barcoo (2018-19) and rookie center Keith Ismael (2017-19) did not play for Jacksonville and Washington, respectively, while offensive tackle Ryan Pope (2016-18) and defensive end Alex Barrett (2013-16) are on the practice squads for Green Bay and San Francisco. Houston has designated tight end Kahale Warring (2016-18) to return from injured reserve, allowing him to practice and giving him three weeks to return to game action. Running back Rashaad Penny (2014-17) is on PUP for Seattle, while fullback Nick Bawden (2014-17) and safety Damontae Kazee (2013-16) are on injured reserve for Detroit and Atlanta.
 
In golf, Scott Piercy tied for 14th at 9-under-par in the Bermuda Championship. Piercy (1999-01) will return next weekend in the Vivint Houston Open in Houston.
