SAN DIEGO – A day before the NCAA Indoor Championships and a week into the outdoor season, all championships and competitions were called off for the rest of the season. That meant an abrupt ending to the senior seasons for four Aztecs – Taylor Alexander, Molly Scharmann, Hannah Taylor and Angela Wilson.
With that in mind, GoAztecs.com continues its series on showcasing those student-athletes who were not afforded the opportunity to partake in their respective sports' Senior Day festivities this spring in person.
While Alexander, Taylor and Wilson will forego the optional extension of eligibility for the 2020-21 season of competition due to the pandemic, Molly Scharmann will return to The Mesa for one more year while she continues to work on her graduate degree.
