This past season was one of the most exciting in program history with the team finishing with the Mountain West regular-season title, a 30-2 record and the No. 6 ranking in the nation.
Here is a look back at the Aztecs' 2019-20 campaign by the numbers:
1 | The number of Aztec losses in the regular season. SDSU was the only team in the nation to finish the 2019-20 regular season with just one loss. |
3 | The number of 20+ win seasons head coach Brian Dutcher has enjoyed to start his career. Dutcher is the only Aztec head coach to win at least 20 games in each of his first three seasons guiding the program. |
4 | The number of games left in the regular season when the Aztecs secured the 2019-20 Mountain West regular-season title outright. SDSU was the first team in the nation to clinch its outright regular-season title with four games remaining since Steph Curry's Davidson team of 2007-08. |
11 | The number of Aztec road wins in the 2019-20 season. San Diego State finished the year one of two teams with a perfect road record. SDSU was 11-0 on the road and Dayton finished the season 9-0 in games on the road. |
12 | The number of championships the Aztecs have won in the Mountain West, the most by any school in league history. Including 2019-20, San Diego State has won seven regular-season titles and five tournament titles. |
15 | Aztec Hall of Famer Kawhi Leonard's jersey number. Leonard's jersey was retired in a halftime ceremony during the team's 80-68 victory over Utah State on Feb. 1. |

34 | The number of players to score 1,000+ points in their Aztec career after Matt Mitchell reached the milestone in an 82-59 win against New Mexico on Feb. 11. He finished the year with 1,085-career points (27th all time). |
