SAN DIEGO – The No. 5 San Diego State men's basketball team, the outright Mountain West regular-season champion, is the No. 1-seed in next week's 2020 Air Force Reserve Mountain West Men's Basketball Championship which will take place at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.
 
The Aztecs, whose first game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network, will open the Championship on Thursday, March 5, at 11:30 a.m. PT against the winner of the No. 8-seed Fresno State versus No.9-seed Air Force matchup.  The Bulldogs and Falcons play on Wednesday, March 4 at noon PT and that game can be seen on the Mountain West Network.

With a win on Thursday, SDSU would be in the semifinals on Friday, March 6, against the winner of fourth-seeded UNLV and fifth-seeded Boise State.  The semifinal game is scheduled to tip at 6 p.m. PT and can be seen on CBS Sports Network. The championship game will be played on Saturday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on CBS.
