SAN DIEGO – San Diego State's swimming and diving team closes home competition Friday when they welcome the University of San Diego to Aztec Aquaplex for a dual meet.

The meet is the final home competition for the Aztecs' nine seniors: Caitlin Delany, Delaney Gallagher, Kassidy Henson, Morganne McKennan, McKenna Meyer, Alma Thormalm, Courtney Vincent, Peyton Wilson, and Marie Yacopino, who have each made a profound impact on the program while donning the Scarlet and Black.

The Aztecs last saw action in the pool Jan. 3, where they hosted a non-scoring Pentathlon against Air Force, the University of San Diego, San Jose State and Incarnate Word. Junior Klara Thormalm registered the top combined time throughout all five events with a mark of 4:50.73, followed by her sister and senior Alma Thormalm who recorded an overall combined effort of 4:59.26.

SDSU's meeting with the Toreros is set to begin at noon and admission for all fans is free. The day will start with a ceremony honoring the nine Aztec seniors, scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. Results will be posted on GoAztecs.com after the conclusion of the competition.
