SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women's basketball team (4-7, 1-1) hits the road for games at California Baptist (Thursday, 6 p.m. PT) and at Incarnate Word (Saturday, 12 p.m. PT) this week. Both games will have streams and Chris Ello will have an audio-only broadcast as well.

Aztec Tidbits
• The Aztecs have only one previous meeting with both schools and both came last year with SDSU winning both at home.
• Sophomore guard Sophia Ramos (Incarnate Word HS) and senior forward Monique Terry (Brennan HS) will be making their first trip as Aztecs to San Antonio for their game Saturday vs. Incarnate Word.
• The Aztecs lost to San Diego 70-47 in their last game. Téa Adams led the way with 16 points and Taylor Kalmer added 15.
• The Aztecs went 1-1 in the early portion of Mountain West play, beating Colorado St. at home 59-49 and falling at San Jose St.
• SDSU is second in the Mountain West in blocks per game (4.0) and third in total rebounds.
• The Aztecs are averaging just 14.3 personal fouls this season, the 23rd best in the nation and second in the conference.
• SDSU is holding their opponents to 27.5 percent from three-point territory, third best in the conference.
• SDSU has four players averaging at least 10 points per game or mor.
• Taylor Kalmer has scored in double-digits in nine of SDSU's 11 games.
• Head coach Stacie Terry and her staff announced the signing of three players to National Letters of Intent. Asia Avinger, Kimberly Villalobos and Flera "Flo" Vinerte will join the Aztecs for the 2020-21 season.

Noting the San Diego Game (L, 47-70 vs. San Diego, 12-11-19)
• The Aztecs were held to 47 points, their fewest on the year.
• SDSU was held to 20 points in the second half and nine in the third quarter, both were season-lows.
• The Aztecs were outrebounded 44-22 and the Toreros had 20 offensive rebounds to SDSU's four. The 22 total rebounds were a season-low for the Aztecs.
• SDSU had just five bench points, a season low.
• The Toreros had 11 steals, the most an opponent has had against SDSU this season.
• USD attempted just seven three-pointers, the fewest an opponent has shot against SDSU.
• Taylor Kalmer has scored at least 10 points in five straight games. She has reached double-digits a team-high nine times this season.
• Téa Adams led the team with 16 points. She has led the team in scoring five times, the most on the team.
• Adams was made both of her three-point attempts and is now shooting 48 percent from three on the year (13-27).
• Sophia Ramos led the team in rebounding for the second straight game. The 5'9" sophomore point guard is averaging 7.5 rebounds per game over the last two contests.

Opponent Notebook (California Baptist)
• The Lancers are 8-5 on the year.
• They went 18-12 last season.
• They are 7-0 at home.
• They have faced three common opponents and SDSU (Alabama A&M, UC Santa Barbara and Cal State Fullerton). They went 2-1 in those meetings while the Aztecs went 1-2.
• They are averaging 78.9 points per game but allowing 75.8.
• CBU has a rebounding margin of -7.6
• The Lancers have four players averaging at least 10 points. They are led by Caitlyn Harper who is scoring 16.2 points per game while bringing in 9.0 rebounds per contest. Harper is shooting 57.1 percent from the floor.

Opponent Notebook (Incarnate Word)
• Incarnate Word is 3-4 on the year.
• They went 5-24 last season.
• All three of their wins came at home, where they are 3-0.
• The Cardinals are averaging just 54.9 points per game but holding opponents to 60.9.
• They are shooting better from three (.341) than from the field (.338).
• Imani Robison leads the team with 10.4 points per game.
• Kara Speer averages a team-high 7.4 rebounds.
• Head Coach Jeff Dow is in his first year at Incarnate Word. He comes to UIW after five years as the head coach at Louisiana Monroe (2014-19). He entered the season with a career record of 258-192 (.573).
• Their first and only meeting vs. SDSU was a last season, an 81-38 SDSU win in Viejas Arena.
