SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State (4-6, 1-1) women's basketball team returns to non-conference play when they host crosstown for San Diego (4-4) Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network and there will also be an audio-only broadcast with Chris Ello on the call.

Aztec Tidbits
• The last two meetings between the Aztecs and Toreros were decided by one point each with the home team winning both times.
• The Aztecs went 1-1 in the early portion of Mountain West play, beating Colorado State at home 59-49 and falling at San Jose State last Saturday 84-67.
• Taylor Kalmer and Sophia Ramos each posted season-highs to lead SDSU in scoring. Kalmer finished with a career-high 22 points and Ramos stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with 20 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Baylee Vanderdoes recorded a double-double as well, recording 10 points and 10 rebounds.
• This was the first time SDSU has had two players with a double-double since Nov. 14, 2014 (Cheyenne Greenhouse & Erimma Amarikwa).
• Baylee Vanderdoes is averaging 9.5 rebounds over the last two games.
• SDSU leads the Mountain West in total rebounds and blocks.
• The Aztecs are averaging just 14.0 personal fouls this season, the 18th best in the nation.
• SDSU is holding their opponents to 27.5 percent from three-point territory, third best in the conference.
• SDSU has four players averaging 9.6 points per game or more and have had four players score 10 or more points in at least five games.
• Taylor Kalmer has scored in double-digits in eight of SDSU's 10 games. She scored 10 or more points 11 times in 80 games at Oregon State.

Noting the San Jose State Game (L, 67-84, 12-7-19)
• The Spartans scored 84 points, the most SDSU has allowed this season.
• SJSU scored 42 points in each half, both were the most the Aztecs have allowed in a half this season.
• The Spartans had the most three-pointers (10), assists (20) and steals (10) an Aztec opponent has had so far this season.
• San Jose State had 26 points off 21 SDSU turnovers, both were season-highs for SDSU.
• The Spartans had 23 fast break points, a season-high for an SDSU opponent.
• Both teams shot 41.4 percent from the floor.
• Taylor Kalmer finished with a career-high 22 points and Sophia Ramos has a season-high 20 points. This was the first time SDSU had two players score 20 or more points since the 2019 Mountain West Tournament quarterfinals with Naje Murray and Sophia Ramos both topped 20.
• Kalmer's 22 points came on 9-for-21 shooting, the most points, field goals and field goal attempts by any Aztec this year.
• Sophia Ramos also had 10 rebounds to notch her second career double-double and second career game with 10 or more rebounds.
• Ramos also set career highs for free throws made (8) and attempted (10).
• Baylee Vanderdoes also notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. It was the second double-double of her career.
• This was the first time SDSU has had two players with a double-double since Nov. 14, 2014 (Cheyenne Greenhouse & Erimma Amarikwa).
• SDSU outrebounded the Spartans 41-36. This was the first time they've lost when outrebounding their opponent.
