SAN DIEGO - San Diego State women's soccer team finished the Mountain West slate of games with an 8-3 record and earned a share of the 2019 Mountain West regular-season title, which slots them into a No. 2 seed in this week's Mountain West Women's Soccer Championship at Boise State. The tournament is scheduled for Boas Soccer Complex on Nov. 5, Nov. 7 and Nov. 9.

The Aztecs, who lost last Friday at New Mexico, finished in a tie for first place with Boise State, but lost the tiebreaker over the Broncos by virtue of their 2-1 loss in Boise during the regular season. SDSU and Boise State both received a bye into the semifinal round of Nov. 7.

San Diego State will face the winner of No. 3 Colorado State and No. 6 Fresno State, which is slated for Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. MT. SDSU's semifinal game on Thursday is also set for 11 a.m. MT.

The other side of the bracket features fourth-seeded New Mexico and fifth-seeded San Jose State, which will clash on Tuesday at 2 p.m. MT. The winner will oppose the Broncos on Thursday at 2 p.m. MT.

The Mountain West title game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 12 p.m. MT. Every game will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network and links to streaming video and live stats to every Aztecs match can be found at the team's schedule page at www.goaztecs.com.

San Diego State has allowed nine goals this season to the other five teams in the championship field, with six coming in its 6-0 loss at New Mexico.
