SAN DIEGO – The Aztec men's soccer team (3-10-1, 0-7-0) lost to No. 1 Washington (14-1-0, 7-0-0) 3-0 on the Sports Deck Sunday afternoon.
The Huskies scored in the 39th minute then Blake Bodily scored goals in the 48th and 51st minute off a free kick and penalty kick.
Bodily's first goal was on a free kick from the top of the box that found the right corner.
UW outshot the Aztecs 24-4 and held SDSU to two shots on goal. SDSU's shots on goal came from freshmen Hunter George and Esteban Zepeda.
Freshman Tetsuya Kadono (0-3-0) earned his third straight start in goal and collected three saves.
THE NOTE
The Aztecs have faced ranked teams in three of their last four matches.
