SAN DIEGO – The Aztec swimming and diving team competes in their first home meet of the 2019-20 campaign when they host Pepperdine and Boise State in a tri-meet Friday, Oct. 18.

San Diego State has seen success in their home openers in the past two seasons, topping Washington State and Nevada in a tri-meet during the 2018 season while besting Pepperdine and UCSD to open their 2017 home campaign.

SDSU last met Boise State at the 2019 Mountain West Championships, where the Aztecs secured the program's fourth Mountain West Conference title with 1363.5 points while collecting their first conference championship since 2015. Boise State finished third overall with a point total of 1159.

The Waves and Aztecs last competed in a dual meet Nov. 30, 2018, where SDSU topped Pepperdine 141-132 to continue its 6-0 run against the Malibu, Calif. based program in the past three seasons.

The meet at the Aztec Aquaplex is scheduled to begin at 2 P.M. PT. Results will be posted to GoAztecs.com after the competition.
