SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego State softball team will play a nine-game fall schedule, highlighted by an Alumni Game on Saturday, Oct. 12, head coach Kathy Van Wyk announced Wednesday.
Six of the Aztecs' nine games will be played at SDSU Softball Stadium with free admission to the public.
SDSU kicks off its fall campaign Friday, Sept. 27 against Grossmont College at 5 p.m. PT.
The following Saturday (Oct. 5) San Diego State hosts Mt. SAC (11 a.m. PT) and San Diego (4 p.m. PT) with Mt. SAC and USD playing in between at 1:30 p.m. PT.
The Aztecs then welcome Cal State San Marcos on Friday, Oct. 11 for a 5 p.m. PT outing, followed by the Alumni Game the next day (Saturday, Oct. 12) at noon PT.
SDSU plays its final home game of the fall season on Friday, Oct. 18 against Palomar College, beginning at 5 p.m. PT.
San Diego State then plays at UC San Diego on Friday, Oct. 25 at 3:30 p.m., before ending the fall slate on the campus of Long Beach State on Saturday, Oct. 26. The Aztecs are set to play the host 49ers and UCLA with times to be announced at a later date.
SDSU's competitive 2020 spring schedule is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
