SAN DIEGO - San Diego State has announced their 2019 cross-country schedule. The Aztecs will compete in seven regular season meets, all of which will be in California, before competing at the Mountain West Championships Nov 1 in Logan, Utah.

The 2019 season gets underway at the Mark Covert Classic, hosted by Cal State Fullerton, August 31 at Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea, Calif.

Two weeks later, the Aztecs will compete at the 39th annual UC Riverside Invitational.

On September 28th, the Aztecs will split up. Half the team will race in the Capital Cross Challenge at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento, a course they ran twice last season. A small group of SDSU runners will compete in the Master's University XC Invitational in Santa Clarita, Calif. that same day.

SDSU returns to San Diego to compete in the Triton Classic at UC San Diego on October 12.

Their next race will be October 19 when SDSU heads back to Northern California, this time to compete in Santa Clara's Bronco Invitational at Baylands Regional Park.

The final tune-up before the conference championships will be October 25 at the Titan Invitational at Cal State Fullerton.

The Aztecs close out the season with the Mountain West Championships November 1 in Logan, Utah and wrap up the 2019 campaign in Colfax, Wash. at the NCAA West Region Championships November 15.
