SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State women's tennis head coach Peter Mattera announced his team's schedule for the 2019-20 season, which will feature three tournaments in the fall and 22 dual matches in the spring.
 
The Aztecs kick off their fall campaign with the SDSU Fall Classic I, set for Sept. 27-29 at the Aztec Tennis Center. Following the ITA Southwest Regionals at the Barnes Tennis Center in the Point Loma area from Oct. 17-21, San Diego State plays host to the SDSU Fall Classic II from Nov. 8-10.
 
The Aztecs begin their regular season in 2020 with three home dual matches against UC Riverside (Jan. 25), UC San Diego (Jan. 26) and Alabama (Jan. 31).
 
After a road contest at Long Beach State on Feb. 8, SDSU returns to Aztec Tennis Center for home matchups over the next two weekends against Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 15), Cal Poly (Feb. 16), Hawai'i (Feb. 19) and USC (Feb. 21).
 
San Diego State plays its final non-conference dual match of the season at California on Feb. 28 before closing out the non-league campaign with home contests against Grand Canyon (March 7), San Diego (March 10) and Youngstown State (March 12).
 
The Aztecs begin their Mountain West play the following weekend in Boise, Idaho, with a neutral match against Utah State (March 20) and a road contest at Boise State (March 22).
 
SDSU then heads to Laramie, Wyo., for a dual matches with Colorado State on March 27 and host Wyoming on March 29.
 
San Diego State hosts a busy weekend from April 3-5 with matches against Nevada (April 3), Fresno State (April 4) and San José State (April 5).
 
The Aztecs play their final three contests of the season on the campus of UNLV in Las Vegas, including a dual match with the Rebels on April 11, and neutral matches vs. New Mexico (April 17) and Air Force (April 19).
 
After a runner-up finish to UNLV at the 2019 Mountain West Championships at the Aztec Tennis Center, SDSU will look for similar success at the 2020 event, which will take place from April 23-25 at the El Conquistador Resort in Tucson, Ariz.
