Storylines
-  The Aztecs will be on the road for two games this week. On Wednesday, they play at Cal State Monterey Bay at 5:00 p.m. and then on Friday, they are at Fresno State for a noon game.
 
- The Aztecs went 3-1 last week and have now won five of their past six games. On Thursday, SDSU had their best defensive performance of the year in their 4-1 victory over Santa Clara. They followed that up by only allowing two goals against Siena in a 10-2 win. After a hard-fought 6-4 loss to No. 8 Arizona State, the Aztecs won an overtime thriller against San Jose State 10-9.
 
- The Aztecs improved to 13-12 on the year, the first time they have been above .500.
 
- Senior goalkeeper Maura Cantoni had a monster week in between the pipes. In the three games, she played she had a goals allowed averaged of 4.74 and recorded 38 saves. Against Santa Clara, she had three shutout quarters and allowed just one goal on 20 shots and against San Jose State she tied her season-high with 17 saves.
 
- The Aztecs back-up goalie Mia Harris also had a big weekend. She played all 32 minutes against Siena and gave up just two goals on 29 shots and collected 13 saves. She also had two steals.
 
-  Emily Bennett was named the GCC Co-Player of the Week last week after scoring seven goals, dishing out six assists and getting seven steals.
 
- SDSU is 4-1 in GCC play. They have the most wins and second-best winning percentage (Pacific is 2-0).
 
- The Aztecs have had five games decided by one goal, going 2-3 in those contests.
 
- SDSU is 5-10 against ranked opponents.
 
- After this week, the Aztecs will have just two regular season games remaining. They will host Pacific in their GCC finale April 12 and then wrap up the regular season April 20 when they host UC San Diego for the Harper Cup. THE GCC Champions run April 26-28 in Fresno, Calif.
 
- SDSU has never lost to either Cal State Monterey Bay or Fresno State. The Aztecs are 3-0 all-time against the CSUMB and 1-0 against the Bulldogs.
