Need to Know
• The Aztecs wrap up their regular season Thursday evening when they host Nevada at 5:30 p.m. They will honor their three seniors prior to the game: Arantxa Gómez Ferrer, Loli Gomez and Monica Merkovsky.
• The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network with Chris Ello (12th season) on the call.
• The winner of Thursday's game will be the No. 7 seed at the Mountain West Tournament, which begins Sunday in Las Vegas, while the loser will be the No. 8 seed. The No. 7 seed plays the No. 10 seed Sunday at 4:30 p.m. and the No. 8 and 9 seeds face off at 2:00 p.m. San Jose State and Air Force are currently tied for ninth.
• The Aztecs snapped their five game losing streak at Fresno State Monday evening with a 59-58 win.
• The Bulldogs' Candice White hit a difficult three-pointer with 5.8 seconds left to bring Fresno State within one point. The Bulldogs then fouled Mallory Adams who missed both free throws to set up one more chance for Fresno State. After advancing the ball, they inbounded to Maddi Utti, who faked a hand-off to White and then drove baseline, stopped and elevated for an eight foot jumper that rimmed out as the buzzer went off.
• In the Aztecs' first meeting with the Wolf Pack, the Aztecs lost 74-69. A 17-2 Nevada run in the second quarter sunk SDSU.
• Junior Baylee Vanderdoes collected a season-high 11 rebounds Monday at Fresno State.
• Téa Adams led the Aztecs with 15 points Monday. She has scored 10 or more points in each of SDSU's last six games, averaging 12.0 points over that span.
• Mallory Adams has scored 10 or more points in 11 of her last 13 games, averaging 14.1 points over that span.
• Sophia Ramos is the only true freshman in the nation to average 13.0 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.
• Sophomore Najé Murray is tied for third in the SDSU record books for most three-pointers made and attempted in a single season. She is nine threes away from breaking the school record of 77 made three-pointers held by Jamey Cox and Courtney Clements.

• SDSU leads the conference in made free throws. Freshman Mallory Adams is second in the MW in free throws made.


Noting the Fresno State Game (W, 59-58, 3-4-19)
•  SDSU won the rebounding battle 44-35 This is the second straight game the Aztecs have had at a +9 edge or better in rebounds.
•  The Aztecs are 6-1 when holding their opponent under 60 points and 10-2 when holding the opposition under 40 percent from the field.
•  This was the Aztecs' first win on the year when having less than three players score in double-digits.
•   SDSU had 11 bench points, the third consecutive game with 10 or more bench points, which is their longest streak during conference play.
•  Baylee Vanderdoes had a season-high 11 rebounds.
•  Loli Gomez had five rebounds in just eight minutes, the most boards she has had in an Aztec uniform.
•  For the second game in a row, Kennedi Villa tied a career-high with four rebounds.
• Téa Adams entered last weekend 0-for-5 on the year on three-pointers and then went 3-for-3 against San Jose State and Fresno State. Her two made threes at Fresno tied a career-high.
•  Adams led the Aztecs with 15 points. She has scored in double-digits in each of the Aztecs' last six games.
•  Najé Murray now has 69 three-pointers on the year, tied for the third most in a season in program history. The school record is 77 held by Jamey Cox and Courtney Clements.
 
Scouting the Wolf Pack
•  Nevada is 11-17 on the year and 7-10 in conference, good for seventh place.
•  They are 4-6 on the road.
•  Nevada is tenth in the MW in field goal percentage defense (.434) and last in blocks per game (2.1)
•  They are also last in three-point percentage (.285) and threes made per game (4.2).
•  Jade Redmon (14.8) and Terae Briggs (13.5) are their top two scorers.
•  Briggs averages 7.6 rebounds per game and shoots 51.0 percent from the floor.
•  Head Coach Amanda Levens (2nd season) led Nevada to the Mountain West Tournament championship game last season as the No. 7 seed.
 
All-Time Series vs. the Wolf Pack
•  Nevada leads the all-time series 11-10.
•  Since Nevada joined the Mountain West, they hold an 8-7 advantage over SDSU.
•  The Wolf Pack have won just one game in San Diego since joining the Mountain West.
•  On the strength of a 17-2 second quarter run, Nevada beat the Aztecs 74-69 in Reno Feb. 20.
•  The Aztecs are 6-2 against the Wolf Pack in San Diego
•  Nevada has won three in a row and four of the last five against SDSU.
•  SDSU and Nevada faced off in the first round of last year's Mountain West Tournament with the Wolf Pack winning 95-84 in overtime.
•  The first meeting was January 2, 1984, a 90-44 Aztec win at home, which is still the biggest SDSU win in the series.
