Storylines
-  The Aztecs will play a pair of road games against ranked GCC opponents this weekend. On Friday, they are at No. 12 Loyola Marymount and on Saturday they play at T-No. 22 California Baptist at 1:00 p.m. Both matches will have live scoring and Saturday's game at California Baptist will also have a live stream.
 - These will be SDSU's first true road games since their season opening tournament at Hawai'i.
 - The Aztecs went 1-2 last week. They earned their first GCC win of the year with an 11-4 victory over Concordia, but fell in two non-conference games: No. 10 UC Irvine (8-13) and No. 14 Princeton (6-8)
 -  The Aztecs fell out of the latest CWPA polls but are still receiving votes.
 - The Aztecs have had four games decided by one goal, going 1-3 in those contests.
 - SDSU is 2-9 against ranked opponents.
 - Emily Bennett leads the team in goals (24), steals and ejections drawn.
 - Senior captain Hannah Carrillo is second in goals (22) and has a team-high 22 assists.
 - Karli Canale has 17 goals and a shooting percentage of .447.
 - SDSU is 16-17 all-time against LMU and lost both meetings last season.
 - The Aztecs have not lost to California Baptist since 2001 and are 19-2 overall against the Lancers.
