SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State volleyball team will play in three tournaments this spring, including hosting a tournament at Peterson Gym on April 13.

SDSU plays its first spring tournament of the year at the University of Arizona, where it'll play five different teams on March 30. The Aztecs are set to face Arizona State, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Arizona, and UTEP at the McKale Center with the first match of the day starting at 9:00 a.m.

The Aztecs then shift their focus into hosting their spring tournament at Peterson Gym, where SDSU welcomes Northern Arizona, Long Beach State, and Arizona on April 13. SDSU starts the day against NAU at 9:00 a.m., followed by LBSU at 12:00 p.m. and Arizona at 3:00 p.m. Other teams in action at SDSU's spring tournament include Cal State San Marcos, San Diego, UC San Diego, Cal Baptist, and Cal State Fullerton. The tournament will feature two courts with matches being played on both courts from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

SDSU then makes a quick cross-town trip to the University of San Diego two weeks later on April 27, where SDSU will face UC Riverside (9:00 am), LBSU (11:00 am), and UC San Diego (1:30 pm) at Jenny Craig Pavilion.

The Aztecs return 15 letterwinners from last year's squad, including starting outside hitter Hannah Turnlund and starting middle blockers Erin Gillcrist and Tamia Reeves.
