San Diego State Travels to Boise State for Key Mountain West Series
San Diego State hits the road for the first time of the Mountain West season this weekend with a series at Boise State. The Aztecs (14-14, 2-1 MW) are scheduled to play the Broncos (21-4, 1-2 MW) at 4 p.m. MT Friday, 4 p.m. MT Saturday and noon MT Sunday.

SDSU is coming off a series win over New Mexico last weekend, including a come-from-behind 9-8 win on Saturday night and a 4-3 victory on Sunday.

San Diego State, which is hitting .255 as a team, has four players batting over .300 in Taylor Addams (.351, 1 HR, 13 RBI, 10 R), Maddi Ayers (.333, .418 OB%), Molly Sturdivant (.311, 6 2B) and Kiera Wright (.300, 21 R, 14-14 SB).

Marissa Moreno continues to lead the Aztec pitching staff in most categories, including ERA (3.86), wins (6), appearances (19, tied), complete games (3), shutouts (2), saves (2), innings pitched (65.1), strikeouts (65) and opponent average (.252). Moreno, who struck out a career-high 11 batters last Friday vs. New Mexico, ranks in a tie for first in the MW in saves (2), second in strikeouts (65), fourth in innings pitched (65.1) and tied for ninth in wins (6), despite missing eight games with an injury.

Alicia Garcia (5-5, 4.58 ERA, 52.0 IP) and MJ James (3-5, 5.08 ERA, 60.2 IP) have also logged important innings in the circle for SDSU.

The entire weekend series will be broadcast on Stadium and streamed on the Mountain West Network, while live stats will be available on GoAztecs.com.

Following its weekend series at Boise State, San Diego State returns home to UNLV for a series from March 29-31.
