SAN DIEGO – The No. 25 Aztec water polo team (8-10, 1-1) cruised past Concordia 11-4 Saturday afternoon at the Aztec Aquaplex. San Diego State didn't allow a goal in the first half and started the game on an 8-0 run enroute to their first GCC win of the season.
Four Aztecs scored two goals: Emily Bennett, Maddie Higginson, Sydney Hurst and Haley Hagerty. Goalkeeper Maura Cantoni didn't allow a goal in her 21 minutes of action.
The Aztecs scored two first quarter goals and then three in each quarter after.
