SAN DIEGO – Three Aztec pole vaulters will be competing and the Sharon and Ross Irwin Invitational at Point Loma Nazarene on Saturday.
The pole vault competition will begin at 1:00 p.m. Marissa Berry, Alysia Allen and Kaitlin Heri will be competing for SDSU.
Allen and Heri are coming off strong appearances at the Mountain West Indoor Championships. They both cleared 13-00.75 (3.98m), good for tenth in school history.
Berry has a career best outdoor mark of 13-08.25 (indoor, 13-09.25).
Following this event will be the annual Aztec Invitational next weekend.
