Need to Know
• The 7th-seeded Aztecs will face No. 3 Wyoming in the semifinals of the Mountain West Tournament Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. at UNLV's Thomas and Mack Center.
• The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network. Additionally, there will be an audio-only broadcast with Chris Ello (12th season) on the call.
• The Aztecs had a thrilling 70-61 come from behind overtime win over No. 2 New Mexico Monday evening. They rallied from a 13-point second half deficit, their largest comeback of the season.
• Najé Murray had 22 points and hit six three-pointers vs. New Mexico to give her 79 on the year, which broke the school record of 77 set by Jamey Cox (2002-03) and Courtney Clements (2012-13).
• The Aztecs set a season-high and tied an all-time MW Tournament record with 59 rebounds.
• Mallory Adams (16) and Baylee Vanderdoes (14) both set new career-highs for rebounds last night. This is the first time since at least 2000 (when such stats began to be tracked) that the Aztecs have had two players with 14 or more rebounds.
• Adams' 16 boards were the most by a freshman in Mountain West Tournament history.
• The Aztecs have won four games in a row, tied for their longest streak of the year.
• The Aztecs shot 45.0 percent (9-20) from three on Monday, upping their three-point percentage on the season to 34.7. This is the second best rate in the conference and would be the highest for an Aztec team since the 1991-92 season and the second best ever.
• Mallory Adams is averaging 9.09 rebounds per game, the most for an Aztec since Mary Apiafi in the 1999-2000 season (9.10).
• Sophia Ramos is the only true freshman in the nation to average 13.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.
• Mallory Adams and Sophia Ramos were named to the Mountain West all-freshman team. Adams was also an all-conference honorable mention selection.
• SDSU only played Wyoming once this year, suffering their worst loss of the season (87-45).
• SDSU is 4-1 all-time against the Cowgirls in the MW Tournament. They last played in 2016, a 62-44 SDSU win.

• SDSU wins two games in the for the first time since 2013.
• The Aztecs are now 16-17 all-time in the Mountain West Tournament.
• San Diego State improves to 3-6 all-time against New Mexico in the Mountain West Tournament.
• SDSU improves to 13-2 when holding their opponents to less than 40 percent from the field.

Scouting the Cowgirls
• Wyoming is 21-5 overall and went 13-5 in conference to get the No. 3 seed.
• They beat Utah State Monday evening in the quarterfinals 64-41.
• They are 8-5 away from home this year.
• They are third in the nation in three-point percentage (.393).
• The Cowgirls also have the fewest turnovers in the nation and have the ninth best assist/turnover ratio (1.38).
• Marta Gomez leads the team with 15.8 points per game. She is shooting 48.3 percent from three, best in the MW.
• Bailee Cotton is averaging a team-best 8.8 rebounds per game, fourth in the conference.
• Taylor Rusk is first in the conference in assist/turnover ratio and Claire Tapia is second.
• Head Coach Joe Legerski (16th season) was last year's Mountain West Coach of the Year. He has a career record of 297-180.
All-Time Series vs. the Cowgirls
• This will be the 58th meeting between these two programs and Wyoming leads the all-time series 29-28.
• The Aztecs are 4-1 all-time against Wyoming in the MW Tournament.
• SDSU had their worst loss of the season at Wyoming earlier this year, their only meeting.
• SDSU has won four of the past seven meetings and 10 of their last 15.
• They first met February 2, 1991 as members of the WAC. SDSU won that game 79-75 in overtime.
