Need to Know
• The 7th-seeded Aztecs will face No. 2 New Mexico in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Tournament Monday at 6:00 p.m. at UNLV's Thomas and Mack Center. 
• The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network. Additionally, there will be an audio-only broadcast with Chris Ello (12th season) on the call.
• The Aztecs knocked off Air Force 63-55 in the first round. They held the Falcons to 35 percent shooting from the field.
• The Aztecs have won three games in a row, their third three game winning streak of the season.
• Mallory Adams and Sophia Ramos were named to the Mountain West all-freshman team. Adams was also an all-conference honorable mention selection.
• SDSU split the regular season series with New Mexico with the home team winning both times. The Lobos won 70-62 in Albuquerque (Jan. 16) and the Aztecs returned the favor in San Diego with a 61-59 win (Feb. 2)
• SDSU is 2-6 all-time against the Lobos in the MW Tournament. They last played in 2015, a 57-56 New Mexico win.
• Five of the Aztecs' seven conference wins have come by three points or less.
• Mallory Adams tied a career-high with 20 points against Air Force. She also led the team with nine rebounds.
Najé Murray hit one three-pointer vs. Air Force and now has 73 on the year, No. 3 in school history. The school record is 77 held by Jamey Cox (2002-03) and Courtney Clements (2012-13). Murray averages 2.5 made threes per game.
• The Aztecs shot 41.7 percent from three on Sunday, upping their three-point percentage on the season to 34.2. This is the third best rate in the conference and would be the second best for an Aztec squad in the last 25 years.
• Mallory Adams is averaging 8.9 rebounds per game, the most for an Aztec since Mary Apiafi in the 1999-2000 season (9.1).
• Sophia Ramos is the only true freshman in the nation to average 13.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.
• SDSU leads the conference in made free throws. Freshman Mallory Adams is second in the MW in free throws made.

Noting the Air Force Game (W 63-55, 3-10-19)
• The Aztecs win their first game in the Mountain West Tournament since 2016.
• The Aztecs are now 15-15 all-time in the Mountain West Tournament.
• San Diego State improves to 3-0 all-time against Air Force in the Mountain West Tournament (36-10 overall).
• The Aztecs have won 22 of the last 26 meetings with Air Force.
• SDSU improves to 12-2 when holding their opponents to less than 40 percent from the field.
