SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women's tennis team hosted its second match of the weekend on Sunday, dominating Pacific 4-0 to snap a three-match losing streak.
The Aztecs opened the afternoon by clinching heir second doubles point of the week. Freshmen Shakhnoza Khatamova and Agustina Rimoldi Godoy made quick work of Pacific's Anneroos Nederstigt and Maya Lopez, going 6-2 in the match, while sophomore Nnena Nadozie and freshman Alicia Melosch topped Jacquie Tan and Dohee Lee, 6-4, in the top seed to claim the doubles point.
In singles play, the Aztecs continued their sweep with wins on courts one, three and five. In the first seed, Khatamova earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over Nederstigt, while Melosch conquered court three with a 6-1, 6-1 decision against Tan. Sunday's dual clincher came on court five, where sophomore Abbie Mulbarger finished off Lopez, 6-0, 7-6 (0), leaving the remaining matchups unfinished.

Sunday's win over Pacific marks the Aztecs' fifth dual match in which they've left their opponent scoreless.
UP NEXT
The 7-6 Aztecs continue their seven-match homestand throughout the month of March with two matches next week, first against Quinnipiac on Wednesday, March 13, then against Houston on Friday, March 15. Both duals are set to begin at 2 p.m.
