• The Aztecs play at Utah State Saturday at 2:00 p.m. MT
• The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network and there will be an audio-only broadcast with Chris Ello (12th season) on the call as well.
• Utah State (10-11, 5-5) has lost four games in a row and is tied for fifth in the MW with UNLV.
• The Aztecs have won two games in a row and are coming off a huge 61-59 win over New Mexico, who was in first place entering the game.
• The Aztecs held the high-powered Lobo offense to 59 points and 32 percent shooting.
• New Mexico was just 3-for-26 from three on Wednesday and just 1-for-21 after the first quarter.
• Zayn Dornstauder had 11 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, notching her first collegiate double-double. averaging 8.7 points per game in conference play while shooting 53.8 percent from the floor.
• Mallory Adams' streak of three straight double-doubles was snapped on Wednesday. Adams is averaging 12.1 points and 10.0 rebounds in conference play.
• Adams is averaging 8.7 rebounds per game, the most for an Aztec freshman since Ashlee Dunlap in the 2002-03 season. She is bringing in 10.0 boards per game in conference play, the second most in the league.
• Murray is one of eighth players in the nation to average 14 points, 2.3 steals and 2.3 three-pointers per game.
• Sophia Ramos leads all Mountain West freshmen in points, assists, free throw percentage, assist-to-turnover ratio and minutes played. In conference play, she is shooting 88.0 percent from the free throw line, the most accurate among all qualified players.
• Ramos is the only true freshman in the nation to average 14 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Noting the New Mexico Game (W, 61-69, 2-6-19)
•  The Aztecs had 4,272 fans in attendance, a season-high.
•  The crowd attempted to set the world record for most people simultaneously doing the "floss dance" during the first timeout of the third quarter. It is now pending review from the Guinness Book of World Records.
•  After the first quarter the Lobos shot 26 percent from the floor and five percent from three (1-for-21).
• New Mexico made was just 3-for-26 on three-pointers (11.5 percent). The number of threes made, and the percentage made were both season-bests for the Aztecs.
• This was just the second time New Mexico has been held under 60 points and just the third time the Aztecs have held an opponent under 60 and their first since November.
• New Mexico attempted 69 field goals, the most an opponent has shot against SDSU. The previous high was 69, also set by the Lobos.
• The Lobos entered the game as the conference's best rebounding team, but SDSU beat them on the glass 36-34, holding New Mexico 10 rebounds under their season average. SDSU had a season-best 47 rebounds in their game at New Mexico.
• SDSU is now 7-1 when holding opponents under 40 percent from the floor.
• Sophia Ramos had her third 20 point game of the season. The freshman point guard has scored in double-digits in 17 of the Aztecs' 20 games.
• Zayn Dornstauder had a career day. She recorded her first career double-double and hauled in a career-best 11 rebounds. She also set career-highs for free throws made (7) and attempted (10).
• Téa Adams had a career-high five steals.
• The Aztecs had 18 points in the paint, their second fewest on the year and fewest in MW play.
 
Scouting the Aggies
•  Utah State is 10-11 overall and 5-5 in conference.
•  They started 5-1 in league but have now lost four in a row.
•  The Aggies are 5-5 at home.
•  They are second in the MW in blocks (4.5) and rebounds (38.7) per game and third in assists per game (15.8).
•  They are second to last in free throws made and eighth in FT percentage (68.8).
•  Shannon Dufficy leads the team in scoring (16.6 ppg) and is tops in the conference in rebounds per game (10.2) and double-doubles (13).
•  Deja Mason is second in the conference with 1.5 blocks per game. She is the Aggies' all-time leader in blocks.
•  Eliza West leads the team with 5.2 assists per game, third best in the nation and 33rd in the country.
•  Head Coach Jerry Finkbeiner (7th year) is closing in on 600 career wins. He made previous stops at Oral Roberts (1996-2013) and Southern Nazarene (1991-96).
 
All-Time Series vs. Aggies
•  The Aztecs lead the all-time series 6-5.
•  They Aggies have won five of the last six meetings.
•  They played only once last year, and the Aggies won 62-58 in Logan (12-30-17).
•  SDSU is 2-4 all-time vs. the Aggies on the road. Their last win in Logan was Jan. 31, 2015, a 70-59 win.
•  SDSU once scored 132 points against the Aggies enroute to a 132-64 win on December 16, 1983.
•  They first met December 5, 1980, a 79-51 SDSU win.
