Need to Know
• The Aztecs are playing at San José State this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. PT.
• The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network. Additionally, here will also be an audio-only broadcast with Chris Ello (12th season) on the call.
• It will be a quick turnaround for the Aztecs as they will head straight to Fresno for a Monday evening match-up with the Bulldogs.
• The Aztecs lost their fourth game in a row Wednesday, falling to Utah State 65-52.
• The Aztecs trailed by 16 points early in the second quarter and rallied to close the gap to one point, but the Aggies went on a 15-3 run to close out the game.
• In their first meeting, the Aztecs beat the Spartans 69-68 on a last second bucket by Téa Adams.
• Freshman Mallory Adams has scored 10 or more points nine of her last 11 games, averaging 14.0 points over that span.
• Mallory Adams is one of three true freshmen nationally to average 12.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
• Sophia Ramos leads all freshmen in the Mountain West in points, assists, field goal percentage and minutes.
• Ramos is the only true freshman in the nation to average 14 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.
• Sophomore Najé Murray has moved into the top ten in school history for career three-pointers and three-point attempts. Entering the weekend, she is 116-344 (.337), which would rank her at No. 6 for three-point makes and attempts. At her current rate of 2.4 made threes per game, Murray has a chance to break the SDSU record for made three-pointers in a season.
• SDSU leads the conference in made free throws. Freshman Mallory Adams is third in the MW in free throws made and first in attempts.
• The Aztecs are currently in eighth place in the Mountain West standings. Their remaining games are against San José State (10th), Fresno State (4th) and Nevada (7th).

Noting the Utah State Game (L, 52-62, 2-27-19)
•  The Aztecs attempted just seven shots in the first quarter. Utah State had 18 and made nine of them.
•  SDSU had just six point in the first quarter, a new season low.
• The Aztecs had just second chance point despite 10 offensive rebounds, their lowest output of the season.
•  Najé Murray made her 116th career three-pointer to move past former teammate Geena Gomez into sixth place in the SDSU record books
•  Mallory Adams has scored in double-digits in nine of the Aztecs' last 11 games.
•  Adams has led the Aztecs in rebounding in 19 of their 26 games.
•  Sophia Ramos scored 15 points and has now scored in double-digits in 22 of SDSU's 26 games.
•  Ramos has also led the Aztecs in assists in 20 of their 26 games.

Scouting the Spartans
•  The Spartans are 4-22 overall and 3-12 in conference play (10th place).
•  They have won two of their last three games earning wins at Colorado State (78-70) and vs. Air Force (73-60).
•  They gave up a season-high 110 points Wednesday evening at New Mexico (110-72).
•  They are 3-9 at home this year.
•  They are last in the conference in rebound margin (-12.5) and scoring defense (76.7).
•  They lead the conference in three-pointers made and attempted, are fifth in three-point percentage (.319).
•  SJSU has four players averaging between 8.4 and 9.0 points (Raziva Potter).
