Need to Know
• The Aztecs, who have four of their last five games, play at Nevada Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. PT
• The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network. Additionally, there will be an audio-only broadcast with Chris Ello (12th season) on the call.
• SDSU played Nevada three times last year and went 1-2, including an overtime loss in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament.
• The Aztecs lost at first place Boise State 91-67 Saturday afternoon. Mallory Adams led SDSU with 17 points.
• Zayn Dornstauder scored 14 points (6-for-10) to set a new career-high. She is averaging 7.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game during conference play while shooting 49.3 percent from the floor.
• Mallory Adams has scored 10 or more points seven of her last eight games, averaging 14.1 points over that span.
• Adams is averaging 8.8 rebounds per game, the most for an Aztec since Mary Apiafi the in 1999-2000 season (9.1).
• Sophia Ramos leads all freshmen in the Mountain West in points, assists, field goal percentage and minutes.
• Ramos is the only true freshman in the nation to average 13 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.
• Sophomore Najé Murray has moved into the top ten in school history for career three-pointers and three-point attempts. Entering the weekend, she is 110-330 (.333), which would rank her at No. 7 for three-point makes and attempts. At her current rate of 2.5 made threes per game, Murray has a chance to break the SDSU all-time record for made three-pointers in a season.
• SDSU leads the conference with 13.8 made free throws per game. Mallory Adams is third in the MW in free throws made and first in attempts.
• The Aztecs are in seventh place in the Mountain West. They began last week tied for tenth place. The top five teams receive a first round bye in the Mountain West Tournament.
• SDSU's recent four game win streak was their longest since February 2016 when they won five in a row.

Noting the Boise State Game (L, 67-91, 2-16-19)
•  The Aztecs gave up 28 points in the first quarter, 50 points in the first half and 88 points in the game. All were season-highs for a SDSU opponent.
•  SDSU had assists on 17 of their 24 field goals.
•  This was just the second time an opponent has shot 50% or better from the floor against SDSY (Wyoming, 1-9-19).
•  The Broncos scored 18 fast break points on Saturday, the second most the Aztecs have allowed this season.
•  Zayn Dornstauder set a new career-high with 14 points.
•  Sophia Ramos and Najé Murray, the Aztecs' top leading scorers. combined to score 12 points, their lowest combined score in a game this season.
•  Senior Loli Gomez went 1-for-2 from three and is now shooting 47.1 percent (8-17) from long range on the season.
•  Mallory Adams led the team in scoring with 17 points. She has now scored 10 or more points in seven of SDSU's last eight games.
 
Scouting the Wolf Pack
•  Nevada is 8-15 on the year and 4-8 in conference, eighth place.
•  They are 5-8 at home.
•  They are fourth in the conference in turnovers forced and steals per game.
•  Nevada is last in the MW in field goal percentage defense (.441) and blocks per game (2.1)
•  They are also last in three-point percentage (.278) and threes made per game (4.3).
•  Jade Redmon (14.7) and Terae Briggs (14.5) are their top two leading scorers.
•  Briggs averages 8.0 rebounds per game and is shoots 51.9 percent from the floor.
•  Head Coach Amanda Levens (2nd season) led Nevada to the Mountain West Tournament championship game last season as the No. 7 seed.
 
All-Time Series vs. the Wolf Pack
•  The all-time series is tied at 10-10.
•  Since Nevada joined the Mountain West, the series is tied at 7-7.
•  The Aztecs are 2-6 against the Wolf Pack in Reno.
•  Nevada has won two in a row and three of the last four.
•  SDSU and Nevada faced off in the first round of last year's Mountain West Tournament with the Wolf Pack winning 95-84 in overtime.
•  The first meeting was January 2, 1984, a 90-44 Aztec win at home, which is still the biggest SDSU win in the series.
