SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State women's tennis team continues its four-match homestand this weekend when it hosts California on Friday, Feb. 15, and Arizona State on Saturday, Feb. 16. Play against the Golden Bears is set for 2 p.m. at the Aztec Tennis Center, while the dual versus the Sun Devils will begin at noon.

The Aztecs prepare to play the Golden Bears for their dual which was originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 2, but had to be postponed due to rain in San Diego. The Bears have since tallied a 2-1 record this spring with wins over No. 11 Florida and Arizona State, and a loss to No. 14 South Carolina. SDSU last faced Cal up in Berkeley last season, where the Scarlet and Black dropped a 2-5 decision.

Arizona State enters the weekend 4-3, but makes a trip to Pepperdine on Friday before visiting the Mesa Saturday. During the 2017-18 season, the Aztecs made the trip to Tempe, Ariz., to take on then-33rd-ranked ASU, but were shut out, 4-0, by the Sun Devils.

San Diego State enters this weekend's matches with a 5-1 record, coming off back-to-back wins over Cal State Fullerton and Cal Poly last weekend. The Aztecs have owned the doubles advantage by claiming the point in all six duals this season, and have given up just six points in their half a dozen duals thus far, holding four opponents scoreless.

Admission for all home women's tennis matches is free at the Aztec Tennis Center. Results will be available online following the conclusion of each dual at GoAztecs.com.
