Need to Know
• The Aztecs play at the Air Force Academy Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. MT. SDSU's lone conference win came against the Falcons earlier this month (70-61, Jan. 12).
• The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network. Additionally, there will be an SDSU audio-only broadcast with Chris Ello (12th season) on the call.
• SDSU lost at UNLV 71-57 Saturday afternoon. Mallory Adams led the Aztecs with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
• It was Mallory Adams' fifth double-double of the year and her eighth game with 10 or more rebounds.
•  Sophomore Najé Murray recorded her 30th career game with 10 or more points last Saturday. She has scored in double-figures in 14 of the Aztecs' 17 games this season.
• Mallory Adams is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game, the most for an Aztec freshman since Ashlee Dunlap in the 2002-03 season. She is bringing in 9.5 boards per game in conference play, the third most in the league.
• Sophia Ramos leads all Mountain West freshmen in points, assists, assist-to-turnover ratio and minutes played. Overall, she is seventh in the conference in scoring and fifth in assists per game. In conference play, she is shooting 89.5 percent from the free throw line, third most accurate in the Mountain West.
• Ramos is the only true freshman in the nation to average 14 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.
• SDSU is the only team in the nation with two freshmen averaging at least ten points per game (Sophia Ramos and Mallory Adams).
• The Aztecs already have more blocks (75) than they did all last season (64). They are 49th in the nation with 4.5 blocks per game.
• SDSU is making 76.4 percent of their free throws in conference play, the second best rate in the conference.
 
Noting the UNLV Game (L, 57-71, 1-26-19)
• Sophia Ramos and Najé Murray have both scored 10 or more points in 14 of SDSU's 17 games.
•  Najé Murray had five steals at UNLV, the second most of her career. She had six at USD earlier this season. Murray has led the Aztecs in steals in 14 of their 17 games (including ties).
•  The Aztecs outscored the Rebels in fast break points 15-2, their largest margin in that stat so far this season.
•  UNLV had just four steals on Saturday, tied for the lowest output by an opponent on the year (CS Fullerton).
•  UNLV hauled in 45 rebounds, which ties the most allowed by an opponent this season (New Mexico).
•  This was the fourth consecutive game where the SDSU benched failed to score 10 points.

Scouting the Falcons
•  Air Force is 7-12 overall and 3-5 in conference play.
•  They are coming off an 88-77 come-from-behind win over San Jose State Saturday. The Falcons outscored the Spartans 31-14 in the fourth quarter.
•  Kaelin Immel scored a career-high 30 points against the Spartans.
•  They are 6-3 at home.
•  The Falcons are first in the conference in free throws made and attempted but last in free throw percentage (.628).
•  Air Force leads the conference with 15 offensive rebounds per game and is third in the MW with 39.3 rebounds per game.
•  Air Force has four players averaging between 9.7 and 12.4 points per game. Kaelin Immel leads the team with 12.4 ppg.
•  Head Coach Chris Gobrecht is in her fourth year at Air Force and her 39th year overall. She has been a head coach since 1979 and has previous stops at Cal State Fullerton (1979-85), Washington (1985-96), Florida State (1996-97), USC (1997-2005), and Yale (2005-15).
 
All-Time Series vs. Falcons
•  The Aztecs lead the all-time series 35-9.
•  SDSU beat Air Force 70-61 art Viejas Arena on January 12.
•  The Falcons won both meetings last year, which was the first time they had done that since the 2005-06 season.
•  SDSU is 16-5 all-time on the road against the Falcons.
•  SDSU has won 14 of the past 17 and 20 of the last 24 meetings with Air Force.
•  They first met January 11, 1997, a 70-41 SDSU win.
