SAN DIEGO – Fresh off a win in its season opener, San Diego State women's tennis will host two dual matches this weekend, first against UC San Diego on Saturday, Jan. 26, and UC Riverside on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 27. Matches are set to begin at noon each day at the Aztec Tennis Center.

SDSU last faced the Tritons almost a year to the day of this season's match, topping UCSD 5-2 at the Aztec Tennis Center on Jan. 28, 2018. Though this weekend's dual counts towards the Aztecs' official season record, UCSD considers the match an exhibition because of their Division II classification.

UC Riverside is also a regular fixture on the Aztec schedule, as SDSU topped the Highlanders, 6-1, at home on the Mesa in their last meeting on Jan. 21, 2018. The Aztecs claimed the doubles point and five of six singles matches in the dual, with winners including current players Mia Smith, Jenny Moinard, Magda Aubets and Nnena Nadozie.

The Scarlet and Black enter the weekend with perfect marks following a 7-0 victory over Sacramento State last weekend. Duos Moinard and Shakhnoza Khatamova, and Abbie Mulbarger and Agustina Rimoldi Godoy, led the team with wins in doubles, while Smith, Moinard, Nadozie, Aubets, Mulbarger and newcomer Alicia Melosch all claimed singles victories.

Admission for Saturday and Sunday's noon duals is free at the Aztec Tennis Center. Results will be available following the match on www.GoAztecs.com. Parking is available in Parking Structure (PS) 7, located directly underneath the SDSU Sports Deck. There are three ways to pay for parking:
