SAN DIEGO – Damian German of the SDSU men's soccer team was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Far West Region Third Team Wednesday morning.
German (Phoenix, Ariz.), who transferred to SDSU for his senior year from Grand Canyon, led the Aztecs in shots (41) and was second on the team in goals (5) and points (11). He appeared in all 18 matches and made 16 starts at the forward position for the Aztecs. Four of his five goals were game-winners, which tied for the most in the Pac-12.
This is the fourth straight year the Aztecs have had a representative on the all-region team and the 11th time in the past 13 years.
