SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State baseball team hosts its annual Alumni Weekend from Nov. 9-10th, including the program's annual Baseball Alumni Golf Tournament on Friday, March 9th at Riverwalk Golf Club on Fashion Valley Road.
Registration for the golf tournament is still available and registration can be completed by contacting the Aztec Club at 619-594-6444 or at AztecClub@sdsu.edu. The golf tournament begins with a 9:30 check-in with a shotgun start beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Notable SDSU alumni attending the golf tournament include current Cleveland Indians outfielder Greg Allen, and MLB veterans Aaron Harang, Tony Gwynn Jr., and Travis Lee.
The Aztecs, which are in the midst of their 2018 fall season, have won five of the last six Mountain West tournament championships. The Aztecs return five starters to the lineup, including all-conference selections Chad Bible and Julian Escobedo, in addition to consensus freshman all-American third baseman/relief pitcher Casey Schmitt.
