German & Pelaez Earn All-Pac-12 Honors

SAN DIEGO Calif. – Senior Damian German and junior Pablo Pelaez were named to the Pac-12 All-Conference team, the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon. German earned first team honors and Pelaez was selected to the second team.

German (Phoenix, Ariz.), who transferred to SDSU for his senior year from Grand Canyon, led the Aztecs in shots and was second on the team in goals (5) and points (11). He appeared in all 18 matches and made 16 starts at the forward position for the Aztecs. Four of his five goals were game-winners, which tied for the most in the conference.

Pelaez (San Diego, Calif.) started all 17 matches he appeared in and led the team in goals (6) and points (15) and was tied for the team lead in assists. He finished the year seventh in the Pac-12 in goals per game and tied for ninth in points per game. Pelaez, the Aztec team captain, was also a second team selection in 2016.
