SAN DIEGO – Aztec fans can partake in a plethora of Homecoming festivities ahead of San Diego State's football game against San José State on Saturday, Oct. 20 at SDCCU Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT.

The Aztecs-Spartans clash has been designated as a "Red Out" game and all fans are encouraged to wear red to show their support. The contest also marks the annual San Diego State Military ROTC March-On game, where hundreds of ROTC cadets will march onto the field during the SDSU band's pregame performance. In addition, SDSU will celebrate San Diego Padres Night as well as Fleet Week, with members of the U.S. Navy receiving recognition during the game.

As usual, the SDCCU Stadium parking lot will serve as the nucleus for pregame activities, including the Wells Fargo Aztec Village, which will run from 5-7 p.m. in Lots C1/D1. Entrance to the village is free to the public and there will be food and beverage options for purchase, along with a live DJ, as well as a Kids Zone with carnival rides, inflatable games and a face painter.

Inside the Aztec Village, Judson Richards and former SDSU wide receiver J.R. Tolver will host a pregame radio show from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on XTRA Sports 1360 AM, while in the student tent, the San Diego State Student Life and Leadership office will distribute free Homecoming T-shirts and $10 food vouchers to the first 300 SDSU students.

In addition, the Aztec Village will be the site of the Great Alumni Tailgate from 5-7 p.m., where SDSU alumni and their guests can enjoy a one-time-through buffet and hosted beverages (beer, wine, soda) for a fee. For more information and to order tickets, log on to www.sdsualumi.org/tailgate. Tickets are also available to purchase at the door.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., the Warrior Walk is scheduled to commence between Lots E and F, led by Honor Warrior Marshall Faulk, a member of  Pro Football Hall of Fame (2011), College Football Hall of Fame (2017) and Aztec Hall of Fame (1998).

A three-time All-American (1991-93) and two-time consensus All-American (1992-93), Faulk led the nation in rushing yardage in back-to-back seasons as a freshman in 1991 (1,429 yards) and as a sophomore in 1992 (1,630 yards). He also landed in the top nine of the Heisman Trophy balloting in each of his three campaigns on The Mesa, including a second-place finish in 1992 and a fourth-place standing in 1993.

A seven-time NFL Pro Bowl selection, Faulk won a world championship with the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV on Jan. 30, 2000 and was named the league's Most Valuable Player for the 2000 season.

Upon entrance to the stadium, the first 1,500 San Diego State students will receive a free SDSU hat on the Plaza Level, Section 44, the same location where Lyft will be distributing free rally towels.

Additionally, donations for the Aztecs Rock Hunger campaign will be accepted at all gates until the start of the second quarter.

Tickets are still available for Saturday's encounter with San José State. The Aztec Ticket Office, located at SDCCU Stadium Window E, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. On Saturday, the SDCCU Stadium parking lot and Aztec Ticket Office will open at 2:30 p.m.; however, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid long lines on game day.
