SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State baseball team will host its annual Halloween Game on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Tony Gwynn Stadium. The annual event featuring Aztec student-athletes in costume for a fall scrimmage is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
Admission is free and gates to Tony Gwynn Stadium open at 12:30 p.m. SDSU has partnered with the Down Syndrome Association, Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome (DADS), and Best Buddies for the event. The event begins with the Challenger Game at 2:00 p.m. and is followed by an intra-squad scrimmage with the student-athletes and coaches in full Halloween costumes.
The Aztecs are fresh off a season where it won its fifth Mountain West Championship in the last six years and for 2019 the team returns five players and three starting pitchers to the starting lineup.
