The Aztec Athletic Foundation has begun accepting reservations for a limited number of individual entries at the 4th Annual AAF Scholarship Golf Classic, sponsored by Barona Casino and the Barona Band of Mission Indians, and presented by The Mighty 1090. The event is scheduled for a 11 a.m. shotgun start on Monday, November 10th at Barona Creek Golf Club. The event has netted over $160K for student-athlete scholarships over the past three years.

Individuals entries are $250, which includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner, and a great gift package. Spaces are limited, so make your reservations early. To make your individual entry reservation, simply click here to download a reservation form, and fax it back to the AAF at (619) 594-2666.

Premium ($5000) and hole sponsorships ($2500) are still available, which guarantee golf for four in the field, as well as a great benefit package that includes season tickets to Aztec Football and Men's Basketball, with pre-game hospitality and preferred parking. For more information on sponsorship opportunities, simply click here.

Finally, there will be a limited item live auction at the awards reception, that include the following trips:

  • Trip for two to the 2004 SDSU vs. the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor
  • Trip for two to the 2004 Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships in Denver.

As you can see, not only do you get a chance to play a great golf course in a fine event, but you also have the opportunity to bid on fabulous trips to great events, with proceeds benefitting student-athlete scholarships at San Diego State University.

For more information to guarantee your entry in the tournament, along with an opportunity to purchase one of these great trips, contact Cara Rodiles at the Aztec Athletic Foundation at (619) 594-6444, e-mail at crodiles@mail.sdsu.edu.

See you in November at Barona Creek to help the Aztecs!
