Lisa Contois
Lisa Contois has been a member of the San Diego State athletic medicine staff since 2013. Over the past few years she has worked with a variety of teams including women's soccer and women's lacrosse. In 2015, she added health educator to her list of duties. As an assistant athletic trainer with the Aztecs, Contois, who primarily works with women's soccer, oversees all of the team's medical and rehabilitative efforts. As the department's health educator, she helped to create the Aztec Warrior Wellness program which connects the athletic department to on-campus resources. The goal of this program is to provide information to staff and student-athletes that allow them to make decisions that benefit their general health and athletic performance.

As a preceptor, Contois enjoys teaching the department's undergraduate athletic training students the intricacies of the prevention, evaluation, and management of injuries and illnesses.

Prior to arriving at SDSU, Contois was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Long Beach State from 2011-13. During her time with the 49ers, Contois was the athletic trainer for their women's soccer and softball teams. She graduated from Boston University in 2011 and became a NATA Certified Athletic Trainer.
