Aztec Hall of Fame Reception Set
Sept. 17, 2002 SAN DIEGO - San Diego State University fans, friends and alumni are invited to attend a reception on Friday night, Oct. 11th, to honor the 2002 Aztec Hall of Fame inductees. The event will start at 7:30 p.m. in the new Aztec Hall of Fame, located on the first floor of the Aztec Athletics Center. Cost for the event is $10. The new inductees include the 1941 national champion men's basketball team, the 1987 NCAA runner-up men's soccer team, Falisha Wright of the women's basketball team, former football player and coach Joe Gibbs and the late Norm Nygaard, a former Aztec football player. The new Hall of Fame members will be honored at halftime of the Oct. 12th football game against the University of Utah.
