2001 Aztec Football Kick-Off Luncheon Set For August 21
May 31, 2001 SAN DIEGO - The Aztec Athletic Foundation will be hosting the 2001 Aztec FootballKickoff Luncheon on Tuesday, August 21st, at Noon at the Town and CountryHotel in Mission Valley. The annual event sponsored by the AAF serves as the official kickoff ofthe 2001 season for all SDSU fans. San Diego State opens its season in anationally-televised game (ESPN2) against the University of Arizona onThursday, August 30th at 7 p.m. at Qualcomm Stadium. The luncheon is always an exciting event, and has doubled in size over thepast two years. It's a great way to meet and mingle with members of the2001 Aztec football squad and coaching staff, who are seated at your tableduring the event. The day also features a video in which players introducethemselves. The event is capped off by Aztec head coach Ted Tollnerdiscussing the upcoming 2001 season and opponents. It's a fun andexciting day that Aztec fans won't want to miss. Tickets are $40 for individuals, and $110 for two tickets and thesponsorship of one member of the Aztec football team. Corporate tablesare available for $350. They include eight tickets and the sponsorship of twostudent-athletes at your table for the entire day.
