COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West announced its Fall 2017 Academic All-Mountain West team on Wednesday and it featured 29 Aztecs across four sports.
The SDSU football and women's soccer teams led the way with 11 honorees apiece and were followed by volleyball (4) and cross country (3).
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
