• San Diego State won its Mountain West-record 11th league title and league-best fifth MW tournament championship (also 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2011).
• The Aztecs improve to 5-5 in MW title games.
• SDSU improves to 6-1 as the No. 5 seed in the MW tournament.
• Out of San Diego State's five MW tourney championships, two have come as the No. 5 seed (also 2002).
• SDSU is the only No. 5 seed to win the MW tournament (2002 and 2018).
• The Aztecs still own the highest winning percentage in MW tournament history at .682 (30-14).

• Trey Kell was named the MW tournament MVP, the fourth Aztec in school history (also Randy Holcomb in 2002, Marcus Slaughter in 2006 and Kawhi Leonard in 2010).

Scored in double figures for the 23rd time this season (52nd career) and eighth straight game he has seen action in... SDSU improves 36-16 over his career when reaching double figures in scoring.

Reached double figures in scoring for the 23rd time this season and 65th time of his career... Was named to the all-tournament team.
