LA QUINTA, Calif. -- Due to high winds in the Palm Springs region, the San Diego State men's golf team had its first round of The Prestige at PGA West canceled Monday at the par-71, 7,100-yard Greg Norman Course.

The Aztecs are one of 15 schools scheduled to compete in the 18th annual event, which will now consist of 36 holes, with 18 holes to be played on both Tuesday and Wednesday. A live scoring link courtesy of Golfstat will be available on both days.

SDSU will tee off alongside Notre Dame and Washington on Tuesday, starting at 9:09 a.m. PT on hole No. 10. Pairings will be reset following the completion of round one.

The Aztec starting lineup this week features seniors PJ Samiere and Blake Abercrombie, along with freshmen Steve Sugimoto, Puwit Anupansuebsai and Christian Banke.
