Rashaad Penny is among the nation's top players this season, fresh off his conference-record fourth straight Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week honor, and is in consideration for the Heisman Trophy by many national publications.

Sitting second nationally in rushing yards per game (179.0), all-purpose yards (230.0), and total touchdowns (9), Penny also was a Walter Camp FBS National Offensive Player-of-the-Week and was the MW Special Teams Player of the Week on Sept. 11.

Penny's success has propelled No. 19/21 San Diego State to its best season start since 1981 at 4-0. At No. 19 in the latest AP Poll, this is the highest the Aztecs have been ranked while playing host to a game since SDSU was No. 13 on Nov. 3, 1975.
A number of national publications have tabbed San Diego State for a spot in a `New Year's Six' bowl, with four slotting in the Aztecs for the Fiesta Bowl, and three projecting SDSU for a Peach Bowl appearance.

Ranked 19th in the latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll and 21st in the Amway Coaches Poll, the Aztecs play host to Northern Illinois (2-1) at 7:30 p.m. PT Saturday in their final non-conference game of the season.
Tickets are still available for the game against the Huskies, but fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early for better seat location. Individual tickets may be purchased online at GoAztecs.com or over the phone at (619) 283-7378.
The Aztec Ticket Office, located at SDCCU Stadium Window E, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. PT until 5 p.m. PT. On Saturday, the ticket office will open at 2:30 p.m. PT.
Current San Diego State students can obtain one free ticket with a valid SDSU RedID (card must be swipe valid). Tickets can be retrieved at the Viejas Arena Box Office Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. PT to 5:30 p.m. PT and Friday from 10 a.m. PT to 4:30 p.m. PT, or at the Conrad Prebys Student Union Information Booth. Students can also pick up their ticket on game day at SDCCU Stadium Windows B, F and H.
