• San Diego State won its third straight game dating back to last year.
• The Aztecs won their 10th consecutive game against teams from the Pacific Time Zone. That is the fourth-longest active streak in the nation, trailing TCU (21), LSU (13) and Boise State (11).
• SDSU won its sixth straight game against teams from the state of California. That is San Diego State's longest streak against teams from the Golden State since a six-game stretch in 1976-77.
• The Aztecs won their fourth consecutive season-opening game.
• SDSU won its fourth straight game played during the month of September.
• San Diego State improved to 6-0 in the Division I era against teams that called the Big Sky Conference home at the time of the game.

Season-Opener Note
• San Diego State's fourth straight season-opening win is its longest streak since a five-year stretch from 1993-97.
• The Aztecs have outscored the opposition, 144-27, over the four-game season-opening winning streak.
• SDSU improved to 50-40-5 all-time in lidlifters, including a 25-23-1 mark in the Division I era (since 1969).

• SDSU won for the 22nd time over the last 25 games (22-3). The .880 win percentage over that time (since Oct. 3, 2015) trails only Alabama (25-1; .962 - entering tonight) and Clemson (26-2; .929) for the highest winning percentage in FBS play.

• The five catches were a career high as was his receiving yardage. His previous single-game bests were one catch and 12 yards, both of which occurred last season at South Alabama.
• The five catches were the most by a tight end since David Wells last season at SJSU on Oct. 21 when he had five receptions.
• The 74 yards receiving were the most by a tight end since Gavin Escobar had 108 vs. UNLV on Oct. 27, 2012.

• Rushed 14 times for 66 yards and a touchdown.
• It was his seventh career rushing touchdown (all over the last eight games) and ninth overall score of his career.

• Had a 21-yard touchdown catch, just his second career reception.
• His one catch and 21 yards receiving matched his season totals from 2016 (12 games played).
