SAN DIEGO - Former San Diego State women's soccer standout Hannah Keane has earned a professional contract with FF USV Jena and will play in the German Bundesliga. Keane will play in the top flight of women's soccer in Germany.

A four-year letterwinner from 2011-14, Keane helped jumpstart the most successful run in San Diego State history. As a freshman, Keane was a part of a 10-win club only to return in 2012 and help SDSU to its best effort in school history, a 21-2-1 season and a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16. That 2012 squad was ranked as high as No. 3 in the nation before finishing at No. 7 in the NSCAA poll.

After the 2012 team won the Mountain West regular-season and tournament championships, Keane helped make sure the Aztecs' perch atop the league remained secure. In her final two years, SDSU won two additional MW regular-season and tourney titles, and advanced to the NCAA tournament.

In four seasons, Keane guided the Aztecs to a 59-21-8 record, six Mountain West titles and three trips to the NCAA tournament. Individually, Keane produced 29 goals (fifth in SDSU history) and 16 assists for 74 points (fifth in SDSU history) in 85 career games. Of her 29 goals, nearly half (14) were of the game-winning variety.

Keane ended her time at San Diego State with three all-Mountain West selections (two first team, one second team), an MVP trophy from the 2013 MW Championship, an NSCAA all-region third-team accolade in '13, and three Mountain West all-academic awards.
