General Notes
- San Diego State finished the 2017 campaign with a 10-3 record.
- Rashaad Penny rushed for 221 yards, making him the fourth player in FBS history with at least 200 yards rushing in five straight games. The others are Marcus Allen (USC, 1981), Barry Sanders (Oklahoma State, 1988) and Jamario Thomas (North Texas, 2004).
- Rocky Long falls to 8-2 (.800) in his San Diego State tenure against service academy teams.
- San Diego State fell to 14-3 since 2012 against teams that finish the season ranked among the top 25 in rushing offense. Army came into the game ranked No. 1.
- San Diego State fell to 2-1 vs. Army West Point after claiming a road victory in 2011 and a home win in 2012, before the result today.

- Out of his 52 career touchdowns, 38 have been rushing scores, seven kick return, six receiving, and one punt return.

- Rushed five times for 44 yards and returned four kicks for 140 yards and a touchdown.
- Recorded his second kickoff return touchdown of the season and third of his career.
- Recorded his ninth overall touchdown this season and 17th of his career.
- Now has 17 touchdowns (13 rushing, three kick return, one receiving) over the last 20 games.

* Kyahva Tezino, So., LB (17 tackles (11 solo), 2.5 TFL)
- Had a career-high 17 tackles and tied a career high with 2.5 tackles for loss.
- Tezino's 17-tackle effort marked the first 15-tackle performance for SDSU since Nat Berhe had 15 at Nevada on Oct. 20, 2012.
- He has two career double-figure tackle games, both of which came in his last two outings.

* Ronley Lakalaka, Jr., LB (15 tackles (9 solo), 1.0 TFL))
- Had a career-high 15 tackles, including nine solo. He, along with Tezino, posted SDSU's first 15-tackle game since Berhe has mentioned above.
- It was his fourth career double-digit tackle game.

* Parker Baldwin, Jr., S (10 tackles (5 solo), 1 FF))
- Recorded 10 tackles, which was his third double-digit tackle game of the year and the fourth of his career.
- He matched his career high with one forced fumble.

Other Notes
- QB Christian Chapman started for the 29th consecutive game, the longest streak on the team (offense/defense).
- RB/KR Rashaad Penny played in his 54th straight game, the longest streak on the team.
