Gameday Festivities Set for Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl

SAN DIEGO - San Diego State has announced gameday events for its Lockheed Martin Armed Forced Bowl game against Army West Point on Dec. 23in Fort Worth, Texas.

A pregame tailgate for Aztec fans and alumni will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. CT as part of the ESPN VIP tent inside Lot 3 at Amon G. Carter Stadium. Three different vendors will serve food at the tailgate, in addition to a hosted bar being on site. Tickets to the pregame tailgate are available online at GoAztecs.com.

SDSU will host hold a 1 p.m. CT pep rally in Lot 3 at the stadium, featuring the Aztec band and cheerleaders.

Following the game there will be a fireworks show inside the stadium.

The Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl is the eighth consecutive appearance for the Aztecs (10-2). The Black Knights are 8-3 entering their game vs. Army on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased online at GoAztecs.com, in person (SDCCU Stadium Window E) and over the phone ((619) 283-7378).
