SAN DIEGO - With just two regular-season games remaining, San Diego State football will offer its fans a plethora of promotions for its game against the Nevada Wolf Pack on Saturday, Nov. 18 at SDCCU Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Wells Fargo Aztec Village is open from 5-7 p.m. in Lots C1/D1 of the SDCCU Stadium parking lot. Entrance to the village is free to the public and there will be food and beverage options for purchase, a D.J., and San Diego State's baseball and track and field teams on site. Aztec Village will also feature a Kids Zone with carnival rides, inflatable games, and face painters.
At approximately 5:15 p.m., the Warrior Walk is set to begin between Lots E and F, led by Honor Warrior Obafemi Ayanbadejo. Ayanbadejo, who played fullback for SDSU during the 1995 and 1996 campaigns, and was named the 1996 WAC Most Improved Player. He had brief stints with the Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears in the NFL and won Super Bowl XXXV with Baltimore in 2001.
Prior to the game, the SDSU Cheer and Dance teams are hosting an all-ages clinic from noon to 4 p.m. Participants will attend an instructional clinic, receive admission to the game and two additional game tickets, and will perform on the sidelines during the game. Long-sleeve shirts will be handed out to the first 1,000 SDSU students in front of the student section at Plaza 44.
Aztec Dance Marathon will be at gates throughout SDCCU Stadium accepting donations, as well. ADM is an event put on by SDSU students each year to benefit Rady Children's Hospital, an establishment that provides care to over 200,000 children and is a major pediatric clinical research center.
As part of San Diego State's Veterans Day recognition, the Aztecs will also honor several members of the Wounded Warrior Project during the game. In addition, the SDSU baseball and track and field teams will be honored for winning Mountain West championships last year.
Fans should also be aware that, in conjunction with set up for an upcoming Stadium event, parking/tailgating will not be available in Parking Sections A-2, A-3, A-4, B-2 and B-3. Additionally, Gate 1 entry off San Diego Mission Road will be closed. These are closures for all remaining games this season.
Tickets are still available for Saturday's game against the Wolf Pack, but fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early for better seat location. Individual tickets may be purchased online at GoAztecs.com or over the phone at (619) 283-7378. The Aztec Ticket Office, located at SDCCU Stadium Window E, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. PT until 5 p.m. PT. On Saturday, the ticket office will open at 2:30 p.m. PT.
Current San Diego State students can obtain one free ticket with a valid SDSU RedID (card must be swipe valid). Tickets can be retrieved at the Viejas Arena Box Office Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. PT to 4:30 p.m. PT, or at the Conrad Prebys Student Union Information Booth. Students can also pick up their ticket on game day at SDCCU Stadium Windows B, F and H.
