Big Notes
• SDSU set a Division I era school record with 554 rushing yards, bettering its 474 set Nov. 12, 2016 at Nevada.
• The Aztecs' 554 rushing yards were the second most in a game this season, only trailing Navy's 569 vs. Cincinnati on Sept. 23.
• San Diego State's six rushing touchdowns were its most since also scoring six times at Hawai'i on Oct. 5, 1991.
• The Aztecs won their 37th straight game when rushing for at least 200 yards and improved to 45-2 in the Rocky Long era when rushing for at least 200 yards.
• San Diego State had two 100-yard rushers for the 28th time in program history (the Aztecs are 27-1 in those occasions) and for the seventh time in the past 20 games.
• Rashaad Penny (234 yards) and Juwan Washington (134 yards) became the 19th different combination of 100-yard rushers in program history.
• The Aztecs posted the best third-down conversion percentage in the country this season, going 11-for-13 (84.7 pct.).
• San Diego State outgained San Jose State, 648-200. The 448-yard margin was the best in SDSU's Division I history (since 1969) (No. 2 was +403 vs. Eastern Illinois on Oct. 6, 2011).
• San Diego State owned a rushing advantage of 521 yards tonight, the best rushing margin in its DI history (No. 2 was 384 at Nevada on Nov. 12, 2016).
• SDSU had 31 first downs, while allowing just eight. The margin of 23 was tied for the best mark in the Aztecs' DI history (also Oct. 31, 1970 vs. Fresno State).
• San Diego State's 31 first downs were its most since also earning 32 vs. Wyoming on Nov. 3, 2007
. • The Aztecs had the ball for 43:19, their most in a game since at least 1982 and the third most in a FBS game this season.
• SDSU won its eighth game of the season. Entering today, only five teams nationally had more victories.
• San Diego State won its 14th road game since Oct. 10, 2015, which is the most in FBS over that span.
• The Aztecs join Oklahoma State as the only teams in FBS play this year with five road wins.
• SDSU won its sixth straight road game, and improved to 9-1 in its last 10 road contests and 14-2 in its last 16 road outings.
• San Diego State's six-game road winning streak is tied for the fourth longest in FBS play.

• SDSU took over the series lead against the Spartans, now up, 20-19-2. It's the first time that San Diego State has owned a lead in the series since holding a 2-1 series advantage after the 1937 game.
• The Aztecs have not trailed in the series against SJSU since taking a 34-30 lead with 3:32 to play in the 2013 game. SDSU has not trailed against San Jose State in the last 243 minutes, 32 seconds (243:32) of game time.
• The Aztecs had their fewest pass attempts (7) in their Division I era, while recording their third-highest passing efficiency (245.66).
• San Diego State improved to 8-2 in its last 10 November games and 17-4 in its last 21 games played in November.

• SDSU has now gone 36 straight games with one interception or fewer (dates back to Sept. 12, 2015 at California).
• SDSU won its 16th consecutive game when not giving up a point in the first quarter.
• San Diego Sate forced a turnover for the first time since the Northern Illinois game on Sept. 30. The Aztecs had gone a Division I-era (since 1969) record four straight games without forcing a turnover (SDSU had never gone three straight without forcing a turnover).
• The Aztecs won their 21st consecutive game when forcing multiple turnovers.
• San Diego State scored 21 points in the first quarter, its most since also scoring 21 at Fresno State on Sept. 29, 2012.
• The Aztecs had their largest lead after one quarter since also leading Utah State, 21-0, on Sept. 25, 2010.
• Opponents have failed to convert a fourth down against the Aztecs on 15 consecutive chances dating back to last year.
