- Rashaad Penny rushed 30 times for a career-high 253 yards (8.4 avg.) and two touchdowns. The 253 yards are tied for the 12th most in a game in school history, the most in FBS this week and the 10th most in a FBS game this season.
- The Aztecs won their 36th straight games when rushing for at least 200 yards and improved to 44-2 in the Rocky Long era when rushing for at least 200 yards.
- SDSU held Hawai'i to 195 yards. It's just the second time since 1999 that a team held Hawai'i to under 200 yards of total offense at Aloha Stadium.
